The retail and restaurant commercial spaces in the Downtown core initially finished construction and became available for leasing in early 2023 with the last of the spaces becoming available in early 2025. Multiple Downtown stakeholders, including the Town of Superior and Carmel, the Downtown core developer, are continuously working towards attracting new and exciting businesses. As the area grows and more residents and visitors frequent Downtown, additional retail, dining, and service businesses are expected to open.

Retail and restaurant build-outs also take time, even after a tenant signs a lease. Businesses may be in design, permitting, or interior construction stages before they can open to the public—a process which typically takes a number of months.

Information for prospective tenants—including available square footage, leasing contacts, and current opportunities—is available on the Town’s Properties webpage found at superior-business.org/properties.

Opportunities include both live/work units and commercial units in the Downtown Core as well as available pre-leasing opportunities in the Coal Creek Innovation Park.
